No one else wanted to get wet. Davy grabbed a tow rope. Adam lit a fag. Wil took photos. Wales. 2021. Photo Wil Linssen. View fullsize After extracting the bike from the muddy puddle, Greg, Clive, Davy and Adam wrestle it upright to drain the water out of the low slung exhaust. Fortunately the AJP PR7 did not actually take any water into the engine and fired right back up afterwards. Wales. 2012. Photo Wil Linssen. View fullsize Camera's at the ready. It appeared that the rubber seals in the clutch system had all perished. A quick top up of clutch fluid from the garage and the guys were on the road again. Wales. 2021. The electrical system of the newly installed rally tower on his KTM 690 would not fire up. This burnt out fuse was the culprit. A simple trailside fix. Spain 2022. A short while earlier the bike had tumbled at an awkward angle, shearing the carbon tower from its mounting point. A lot of cable ties later and he was back on the road. England. 2023. It's surprising how creative it can be fixing bikes whilst out in the wilds. The fear of a recovery van and early end can be very motivating. England. 2023. View fullsize Greg's KTM 450EXC leans against Adam's BMW G310GS high in the Pyrenees. Earlier in the trip the KTM's sidestand had snapped off. Whilst this is not a show stopper, it does mean that the bike can not stand up on it's own. At this campsite there were no walls or trees to lean on so rather than laying flat on the ground Adam kindly leant his BMW for support. Spain. 2022.
